Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson has been an American actor for many years. Elson's professional career started out as a young actor and model. However, she is famous for her character Alice Tyler in CBS science fiction. Andrea tried out for the lead role in ALF the smash 1986 show. The show won her. After many years of working in hit TV shows, she left the industry to spend time with her children. Andrea Elson's character, Lynn Tanner, Willie and Kate Tanner's teen daughter was not easy for her. In her retrospective from 2000, People Elson said developing as an actress of her age in front of an audience that viewed sitcoms was difficult. The blonde New York City actress was born on March 6, 1970. Her father was employed in advertising and she grew up travelling because of it. Before she was ten years old she had lived throughout New York Chicago San Diego as well as Los Angeles. Andrea had her first successful performance in San Diego after she got an agent. Fusco explained the decision by saying "ALF has 285 years, so he is mature enough to be able to consume beer." However as ALF became more popular with youngsters, NBC stated to Fusco that if he was drinking the kids watch because it's not a good character model. Fusco thought ALF could be a drinker even when he was an adult. In 1995, he was identified with lymphoma. He was treated successfully and was remissioned until 2019. The disease took his life on 26 June, 2019, at 75 years old. He died at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
