Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is a voice actress, director and singer. She is also an actor. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. Her initial success was enhanced by her appearance on several popular television series. She played the evil Ling Woo. It was a moment of fame that led to film roles such as Shanghai Noon or Charlie's Angels. She delivered a stunning performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii (Quentin Tarantino) in Kill Bill Volume 1 by Quentin Tarantino. In the meanwhile, she was also in lead roles in some films that failed at the box office, such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then she began voicing characters from animated films such as Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason, in Cashmere Mafia as well as other smaller-screen roles failed to bring her any kind of success. An appearance in the critically-acclaimed police drama series Southland allowed her to regain her status as an actress of note. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order so that she doesn't get stereotyped in a field that is highly competitive. Although she's embraced her heritage, she hasn't let them restrict her artistic abilities.
